ADYA EMPOWERMENT ASSOCIATION
ADYA Empowerment Association is a registered non-government organization which is empowered by a group of undergraduates and youths. Our aim is to create social impacts to the urban poor community or known as B40/B20 community in Malaysia by uplifting them through social entrepreneurial programs. Our initiatives are mainly for underprivileged kids, school dropouts, single mothers and women head of households. Currently we are working closely with the National Community Policy by targeting the beneficiaries from PPRs in Klang Valley. We are aiming to address the social issues faced by them and conducting programs to create sustainable social impacts.
We began our initiatives in June 2018 at PPR Lembah Subang 1&2 and are currently working on toolkits to generate more social entrepreneurs from urban poor communities. Besides that, we are providing essential needs to the underserved families and education support to the underprivileged students too. We kick start our initiative by setting up a classroom and kitchen at PPR Lembah Subang 2. Besides that, our team is working closely with Universities and businesses to provide personal hygiene items, groceries and free tuition for the needed community.
