About Us
ADYA Empowerment Association is a registered non-governmental organization focused on creating positive social impacts in Malaysia’s urban poor community. We uplift them through social entrepreneurial programs, targeting underprivileged kids, school dropouts, single mothers, and women who head households. Currently, we are working closely with the National Community Policy to address social issues faced by beneficiaries from PPRs in Klang Valley through sustainable programs. We also provide essential needs and educational support to underserved families and underprivileged students.
ADYA Empowerment Association is a registered non-governmental organization empowered by a group of undergraduate and youth volunteers. Our aim is to create positive social impacts in the urban poor community, also known as the B40/B20 community in Malaysia, by uplifting them through social entrepreneurial programs. Our initiatives are primarily focused on underprivileged kids, school dropouts, single mothers, and women who head households.
Currently, we are closely working with the National Community Policy to target beneficiaries from PPRs in Klang Valley, aiming to address the social issues faced by them through sustainable social entrepreneurial programs. We began our initiatives in June 2018 at PPR Lembah Subang 1&2 and are currently working on developing toolkits to generate more social entrepreneurs from urban poor communities. In addition to this, we provide essential needs to underserved families and educational support to underprivileged students. Our initiative kick-started by setting up a classroom and kitchen at PPR Lembah Subang 2.
Our team also collaborates with universities and businesses to provide personal hygiene items, groceries, and free tuition to those in need. We believe that everyone deserves access to essential needs and educational opportunities, and we are committed to making this a reality for the underprivileged community. Join us in our mission to create a positive social impact and uplift the lives of those in need.
